Tan Sri Arpah binti Abdul Razak

YBhg. Tan Sri Arpah binti Abdul Razak began her career in the Administrative and Diplomatic Service in 1979 and has been in the public sector for more than 36 years. She has vast experience at federal and local government administration due to her various postings as an administrative officer in Penang Municipal Council in 1978, Senior Project Officer at the National Institute of Public Administration (1981-1994), Deputy President of Subang Jaya Municipal Council in 2000 and Corporate Director of Putrajaya Holding in 2005. She was transfered to the Ministry of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government in 2006 as Director General of the Department of Local Government. Subsequently, she was appointed as Deputy Secretary General of Policy and Planning and on 3 April 2012 she was appointed as Secretary General of the Ministry of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government
As her education background, she obtained Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Southern California, USA and a Bachelor of Social Science in Urban Studies from the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang. She also completed Advanced Management Programme (AMP) at Harvard Business School in 2007.
Currently, YBhg. Tan Sri Arpah binti Abdul Razak is the Chairman of Public Services Commision Malaysia and Judicial and Legal Services Commission, Malaysia.
